One doesn’t simply walk into Morrowind and finish it ;)

Well, I know I can finish main quests at least :) I’ve done it about 10 years ago, I can do it again!

bulundu asked: Ha, I'm gladly aware that you still have Elder Scroll love! I love seeing your posts. :)

Thanks!

My TES posts will be around for some time, I still need to replay Oblivion! After I finish Morrowind :)

I miss the journal in Skyrim :( I love how my Morrowind character writes down everything that happens to her, and you can always tell what happened when.
Now, back to the story. The Ashlander wise woman Nibani Maesa decided that Muriel may become Nerevarine, and offered her help. You should have seen Caius’ face when Muri told him. I love how he goes from being sceptical to “Wow, we’re building the legend here!”
I also can’t stop thinking about Uriel VII. It looks like he really knows what happens everywhere in his Empire. And cares. I don’t think Titus Mede would pay any attention to a local legend. :(

I used to be a Stormcloak like you

then I took a copy of The Bear of Markarth in the knee.

While there is probably some truth to the account, it’s contradicted in several places by eyewitnesses like Braig in Cidhna Mine, who says that his daughter was executed by the jarl. In fact no one in Markarth mentions Ulfric in connection to atrocities, even though it’s an imperial hold and badmouthing him would look good on a resume’, and even though there are old timers like Bothela who were there.

I think the author’s title as Imperial Scholar says a lot. This guy’s other work presents the Forsworn as nature-loving hippies which they assuredly are not (see The Legend of Red Eagle). His grasp on the realities of the situation in the Reach is sketchy at best, and the final paragraph of Bear being a complete kiss-up to the Thalmor tells me he’s more concerned about getting grant money out of some new patrons than the truth of the matter.

^ Yes, I expected at least Cidhna Mine prisoners to mention Ulfric. But they only mention the Empire and the Jarl. Besides, Jarl Igmund himself tells the story how he totally used Stormcloaks to get his city back.

Ulfric took the city and returned to the Jarl. He wasn’t the Jarl of Markarth, so he didn’t have the authority to execute anyone, only Jarl can do that. So, the book is a lie. And Igmund is a bastard.

Guybrush Threepwood & Chicken & Grog - The Curse of Monkey Island (1997)
The third game in the series, complete with amazing hand-drawn high resolution art. Without Ron Gilbert at the helm, the real secret of Monkey Island was never to be revealed, but the third game was nonetheless a stellar example of the adventure game genre.

It was my first Monkey Island. Then I found 2 previous parts. I sometimes swear like a pirate XD

Bobbin Threadbare - Loom (1990)
Brian Moriarty’s musical adventure. I can’t remember if I ever finished this game. I remember it being a bit hard, actually.
Buy a print of this here.

Oh, Loom!
I remember I finished it. But in silence. My sound blaster couldn’t play the music. Only “pfshhhhhhhh”. And I can’t remember how it ended. It was like a life ago!

Today I felt so bad for Muriel. I bet she didn’t expect THIS. She probably thought they made her a spy because she’s stealthy. And then she discovers that they sent her to Morrowind to ruin the Tribunal. Fun, fun, fun.
And Uriel VII thinks she’s really Nerevarine. And that would explain her strange dreams. But she thought it was because of too much moon sugar. Oh well, imagine how would you feel in her situation.

People who didn’t play Morrowind have probably no idea about the Naked Nord meme, to which I often refer in my Skyrim story.

So, on a way to Ald’ruhn (in Morrowind) we meet at least 2 naked Nords, who say they met Breton witches, but they didn’t know they were witches, and when they started to ”look for love”, witches paralyzed them and stole their clothes. There must be a 3rd naked Nord somewhere, but I haven’t seen him yet.

Kay and Vilkas in Skyrim do that too. Every time Kay comes home she finds her husband naked. Must be a Nord-Breton thing.

Caldera. They mine ebony here for the Empire. As you remember, it was ebony why Tiber Septim wanted Morrowind to join his Empire. So, you can make a lot of money here with feather potions ;)

Oh, I remember that movie! One of my favourite versions of Cinderella, where she’s badass! And the movie was so beautiful!

I found a Nord I want to marry, but my Muriel is a Blade, they are too secret for that stuff 0.0

Look what he says, Uriel Septim is still alive, dragon fire is still burning, but Dunmer are already waiting for a chance to jump out. :) Maybe because current Septims are not really Septims. Or maybe because some Great Houses were never happy about joining the Empire.

Anyway, this Nord guy? Awesome! <3

Morrowind: The Stranger by ~Galagraphia
Finished! Maybe. I still may come back to it to fix things from time to time.

When earth is sundered, and skies choked black,
And sleepers serve the seven curses,
To the hearth there comes a stranger,
Journeyed far ‘neath moon and star.

Though stark-born to sire uncertain,
His aspect marks his certain fate.
Wicked stalk him, righteous curse him.
Prophets speak, but all deny.

Many trials make manifest
The stranger’s fate, the curses’ bane.
Many touchstones try the stranger.
Many fall, but one remains.
